Pete has been spending time in the studio with rolling stones Producer Danny Saber as they have been working what looks like it could be the start of an actual Album/Record from Pete Loughran, Project name TheAnchorJacks. Already they have worked on two songs one called Our Great Nation and the other is a new re-recorded version of What Ya Gonna Do. Both these tracks are really pumping and are just a flavor tester of what you can expect from these combining talents.

Danny preformed with Pete at the Unknown theater in Los Angeles for a charity event to raise funds for the Amanda foundation which gives their money to a no-kill dog shelter as Danny and Pete are great dog lovers. It was an awesome gig attended by many of LAs rock royalty. The gig was a major success and pete put on an awesome show, check footage here.

Today was the start of something special for Pete Loughran as he is about to start recording Chapter 2 “Summer Sessions” @ Elephant Symphony studios. A nice dose of great summer sounds that will be recorded here over the next couple of weeks and should be available shortly afterwards.

Pete Loughran is about to be a pioneer in the Indie music scene by releasing the first of many chapters of his music rather than the traditional record path taken by the major labels. The First of these will have 7 tracks that will be officially released on all the major online retailers as well as CD baby for the hard copy lovers. It has been named PETE LOUGHRAN - Chapter one - Golden. This will consist of 7 of Pete's pre-recorded songs that have been digitally re-mastered.

For his fans this is an amazing opportunity to get more music over a shorter period of time as Pete already has the second chapter in the making... Pete feels that as an INDIE artist this allows him to keep writing great songs and be able to release them, which is all he wants to do.

Pete Loughran receives awesome reception when his song “Life’s a bucket” gets repeated play on Radio Patagonia in South America.

This is the first of many stations that we hope will be playing many of Pete’s tracks this coming summer and beyond.

Pete is now to give the best rock out in Los Angeles, as he will be playing new shows @ The Green Door in Hollywood CA.

This is going to mark the start of a random string of fabulous shows all summer long. For anyone who was not at Pete’s last show at the green door on St Patrick’s Day it was a high-energy rock’n’roll extravaganza that you will not want to miss again.

The event that is “Pete Loughran Fk’n Rocks” is bringing back ROCK’n’ROLL and has been brought back by popular demand. It will be an ever-growing party throughout the oncoming summer of love where you can dance yer darn heart out. As well as hearing songs from Pete’s upcoming record he will have you singing along with unpredictable covers and have your feet ripping up the floor as you vibe off his amazingly contagious energy.

This really is going to be an event for your calendar so put it in there and bring your friends as you enjoy some indie rock’n’roll at the green door this last Tuesday of March.
